Jonathan (JP) Pagden ![]()
History: More than thirty years in media work, trained in BBC Radio and has been talking while pressing buttons, or variations thereof, ever since.
Now: Puts 'Dark Brown Voice' to good use providing live voice-overs for events and recording promo/training pieces and audiobooks. Also programmes PowerPoint and Keynote graphics and has been known to showcall. (Nothing important, though - Prime Minister at the Albert Hall, that sort of thing)
Our Survey Said: "Mister Mellifluous" - Moira Stewart. Now that's a compliment worth having!
Favourite Show Moment: On-stage presenter stops mid-script and says "what time is it?" JP opens mic and tells him. Presenter says "Thanks, voice! Funny about that voice, y'know - when you meet him (puts on squeaky high-pitched voice) he talks like this!"
Favourite Saying: "It's all lies - I deny everything..."
Little-Known Fact: Did first voice job (a radio book review) aged 8. Still has the book somewhere.
